Felt like redesigning the leads of TTA for ol' times sake in a sketch a while back. I haven't been doin' nearly enough artwork lately, so I figured I'd put the new designs to use with a little poster. Tried to get the basic idea of Tome's geography in with the BG while making use of a bunch of different textures. Didn't do so well with the inking phase this time around though, I seriously need to get some new pens.

For Alpha, I had some throwbacks to the first pictures I ever made of him, by brightening up his hair and including the shine that goes through all of his spikes. It's hard to tell in this one, but his sleeves also go over hands. Kirb I went with the current humanoid design but gave him a greener color scheme...WITHOUT making him look like a complete ripoff of Link, which is kind of hard. Flamey I mostly focused on adjusting the hair, trying to blend the two versions Mike and I had both used. GC not much had changed aside from little things here and there, but I tried to use some more radical shading between the lights and darks. Nailock I redesigned on the spot for this picture, with a bit more of a vampiric appearance as opposed to reptilian, but he still looks as comical as always.

I never got this explaind... EVER. what does TOME stand for? btw, I'm almost done watching the show! I stayed up all night getting through 30 episodes :P

I like this, the ol' TTA gang actually look at lot better with a few years of polish added, especially..er, I forgot his name, the green dude with the sword, he looks more like a dragon-man. Nice work!

Wait? What's this about a Season 4?! Is there one coming out soon? really?! I gotta tell everyone! *is FS'd*

xD I really liked the series, too sad it had to die.. but damn did it leave one hell of a mark of awesomeness! Hell, I just can't stop playing as Kirbopher in WINMUGEN!
